Why Choose Our Assembly of Miniatures and Sculptures Service?
One of the most important yet sometimes undervalued processes is assembly. This process involves work that might initially go unnoticed, but it is essential for the final result.
It involves cutting or detaching all components, whether from sprues or individual pieces, cleaning both mold lines and imperfections, and then assembling them.
Tools and Techniques for High-Quality Miniature Assembly
At Narval Painter Studio, miniature and sculpture assembly is a key part of our commission process. We handle everything from removing mold lines to pinning fragile pieces, magnetizing arms, and prepping complex resin kits. Our experience ensures that every figure is strong, clean, and ready for painting.
We work with a wide range of materials: from GW plastic kits and Forge World resin to metal vintage miniatures. Whether it’s a single character, a massive monster, or an entire regiment, we take care of it with precision and care.
Need help with sub-assemblies for better painting access? Want a customized pose or scenic base integration? Just tell us—every project is tailored.
We combine technical know-how with artistic sensibility to prepare every piece for your tabletop or display cabinet.

Magnetization of Miniatures
Magnetizing miniatures is an advanced and popular option in our studio, ideal for those seeking greater flexibility and functionality in their gaming figures. This option can be integrated both during the assembly in our studio and for miniatures that clients prefer to assemble and then send for painting.
Magnetizing moving parts and bases is offered as an additional service to the main assembly. This process ensures that interchangeable parts stay securely in place, making storage, transport, and gameplay easier. With magnetization, you can customize and modify your figures according to the needs of each game, adding dynamism and personalization to your collection.
What Types of Miniatures and Sculptures Do We Assemble?
It is important to highlight that when the figure comes out of the printer, it is cleaned of resin or other materials used. From there, the sculpture requires post-processing to perfect it.
Post-processing includes sanding to ensure no imperfections remain on the sculpture. Following this, the sculpture must be assembled and putty applied to seal all elements so they appear as a cohesive whole.
This part of post-processing is so crucial that it distinguishes between an excellent product and an average one. This process is included with the printing service itself and is factored into the total price.
